Before they took away email, we simply did not even read IMs. Our preferred comm method was, and remains, email.
Since now IM is the only choice, we are forced to look at them, and many (or most) are as bad as we thought. In the few weeks we have been forced to read IMs, we have blocked more members (primarily SMs) than in the entire several years we have been here before that, combined. Probably by a factor of 5 or more.
