Here's one I don't believe I've seen here in the time I've been on this system. Would you play with someone that you knew had suffered a recent (presumably) minor (his assertion) heart attack? We'd been corresponding with this particular gent for some time and had met previously for a get-to-know-you lunch. We went up north for the summer and resumed our correspondence when we returned. Since a bit of time had passed, we were going to enjoy another lunch together and reacquaint ourselves. Just prior to our lunch date he contacted and said he could not make as he was recovering from a minor heart attack but should be good as new soon. We wished him well and planned on getting together again for lunch ....which we did, not too long after that. He still wanted to play and assured us that his Dr said he was fine for all activities. Our concern is him having another heart attack in the middle of things, having the ambulance pull up to our condo, having the coroner's wagon pull up to our condo ... a host of things we normally don't really think about. (and yes I know it could happen at any time .... and we also realize he was bring up front with us and didn't have to say anything beyond "I can't make it for lunch, let's reschedule") Would you go ahead and play with a person with a known cardiac condition? Are we being overly cautious? Opinion?
