I really do want the Trump administration to be successful. I'm skeptical - grift, Christian nationalism, brain worms, etc. don't bode well - but I don't want it to fail. But while we wait for history to have its say, I have concerns about the people around Trump.
Like, when your Middle East advisor and your daughter's father-in-law turns out to not be a brilliant billionaire who went to Harvard but is instead a guy who might or might not have gone to law school in Texas running a truck business in Nigeria that is worth less than a million (and has a reported stake in it of $1.53), you might not be getting what you thought you were.
