I liked to think I was doing a pretty good job by brushing morning and night and flossing somewhat regularly, but noticed something very recently.
I happened to get a water pic and it has made a quick and very obvious difference. The first time I used it my gums bled a fair amount, but this actually went away by the 3rd day of use. I am now using twice the pressure I started with and have no issue with bleeding gums. It cleared up what I suspect was Gingivitis in 2-3 days. The other thing I noticed is that no matter how good I brushed and flossed, I ALWAYS get little food particles out using the water pic. I had one of these before and went for quite a while without one, but it's effectiveness has made a believer out of me such that I will not go without one again. I use it every night now before bed.
