My hubby gets attention from women all the time, fat, skinny, in shape out of shape, good looking, uglies, and in between.

He is in fabulous shape. But he also carries himself with confidence. I've known him over a 1/4 century, and it's always been like that. He's a chick magnet.

I personally do not find overweight men attractive so I wont give them the chance.

But I'm sure other women are fine with everything that I am not.

doubt, from what I've seen, that SLS men are any more overweight than the general US population.

You may be right. But the biggest difference between the general population and the lifestyle is not the men it's the women. case in point. We are staying at a hotel and I have already been hit on twice this morning by two women who match my wife's attractiveness level. the same thing happens when we go out to a vanilla venue. But when we go to a lifestyle venue it's like pulling teeth getting any women to give me a second look.

If you think a member of a couple is unattractive, then don't play with them. Simple enough. No matter what you look like, someone is going to find you unattractive. So just deal with it. I doubt, from what I've seen, that SLS men are any more overweight than the general US population.

Hey I agree and totally relate!! I have "taken one for the team" way too often! I am NOT turned on by large "dicky-dos" (when your belly is bigger than your dick)! Both parties should be fit and look good. If the wife/partner has to help, then so be it. When I met my partner, I did a remake on him! New glasses (he can't wear contacts), new - younger clothes, he lost weight, etc.
Fat men turn me off! Why do men think it's okay to be fat with a hot wife/partner?? And WHY do these hot partners put up with it?!
Life is too short! I love my man, but I tell him constantly, "If I gotta look good, so do you!".

I would love for him to get some of the weight off. He would feel better about himself, have more energy and more stamina. But I can't do that for him, and I don't love him any less because he doesn't.

I wanted to touch on that, and of course, got side-tracked.

It is not my responsibility to make sure that my partner looks good. It's his, no ifs or buts about it. He works out for himself, he changes his clothes for him, he shaves and showers because he wants to be clean, he dresses nicely for himself. Same with me.

If the person doesn't want to take care of himself, there is no amount of help from others that will change that. It's just that simple.

"Now, I love him to pieces."

And all of his pieces too, I'm sure. :D
I had hoped my generalization would cause some couples to think about how they could spur their spouses onto shaping up. Especially if it affecting play. But if your man has it good, then why change it?
