Because the UNC football team is in on Friday, and too many complications/issues, we are not doing anything official on Friday.
Next years Halloween will be on a different date and will be a private, 2 night event and total takeover!
We will also be changing all Friday night meets, for all events now, to the private ballroom off of the lobby check in for complete privacy and to have no contact with other guests.

We enter/assign rooms as they come in and can't be changed at a later date.

Hotel Policies
Quiet Floors: The1st and 2nd floorsare designated quiet floors.
Please do not:
Play loud music.
Place speakers in hallways.
Host hallway gatherings or after-parties.
If you plan on partying into the early morning hours, please request a room on one of the higher floors.
Fire SafetyFor everyone's safety:
No fog machines, vaping, incense, or candles are permitted anywhere in the hotel.
The hotel has smoke detection sensors in every room. If you trigger a fire alarm, you will be responsible for any fines assessed by the hotel.
Registered Members Only
Everyone attending must be a registered Friction member.
Please donot:
Bring unregistered friends.
Purchase tickets for non-members.
Bring anyone who has not been approved.
No walk-ins will be admitted, even if they arrive with you.
Membership approvals are final, and we cannot discuss another person's application status.
Check-In
All guests must check in with Friction Staff before checking into the hotel.
Event check-in closes promptly at11:00 PM.
Guests arriving after that time without prior approval will not be admitted.
Anyone found attending the event without checking in and receiving a wristband will be permanently prohibited from future Friction events.
Couples Must Arrive Together
Couplesmust arrive togetherto check in.
No exceptions.
This applies even if tickets were prepaid.
Couples must remain together throughout the event.
If one partner leaves for the evening, the other must leave as well.
Solo males arenot permittedat the event or after-parties without their female partner and may be removed without refund and banned from future events.
No Entry After 11 PM
Event check-in closes promptly at11:00 PM.
After that time:
No guests will be admitted.
No wristbands will be issued.
Hotel doors will be secured by event professional security guards.
If you know you'll be arriving later than 11:00 PM, youmust contact us in advanceso arrangements can be made with security.
