Whether you are a curious beginner or looking to refine your foundational skills, this immersive evening offers a welcoming space to explore both the theoretical and practical sides of rope work.
What to Expect:
History & Modern Context: Journey through the origins of Shibari and discover how this ancient Japanese art form has evolved into modern aesthetic and sensual practices.
Hands-On Workshop: Learn essential safety guidelines and master fundamental knots step-by-step alongside experienced practitioners.
Live Demonstration: Witness the theory come to life as instructors guide you through the process of tying and executing a complete, beautiful basic harness.
Bring your curiosity, an open mind, and your own rope (if you have it—some will be available for practice). All experience levels and curious minds are welcome!
***We will also have great beginner rope kits priced at $30. This includes two 8ft + a 16ft + a 32ft rope with a pamphlet of some of the basic knots for reference. Colors vary so arrive early to get your perfect choice.***
