WE'RE BACK! The Athens Area First Friday Meet-n-Greets are BACK, and they'll once again be on the FIRST FRIDAY of each month, beginning October 4th, 2024. Our NEW HOME for these gatherings is the wonderful and comfortable Normal Bar on Prince Avenue in Athens. It's a neighborhood bar away from most of the UGA student traffic, with lots of seating inside and out, a dart board, sometimes live music, but ALWAYS the friendliest barkeepers in town. Did I mention they're all EXTREMELY knowledgeable and competent?

If you'd like to arrange for dinner beforehand, there are some great restaurants in the same block, Automatic Pizza is right next door, and they'll bring your order to your table in the Normal Bar (It helps that the 2 establishments have the same owner).

You won't need an RSVP, but we'll start coming together around 7:00pm. There's lots of free parking in the area but it can be tricky to find the first time. We'll clue you in on the more clever places when we see you at the party. So, join us as we reinvigorate our monthly coming together to make new friends and appreciate old ones. You'll be SO GLAD you did!
