Just returned from our 3rd stay at Rooftop. (8/2018) An older hotel that needs some work (they are trying) but the rooms are clean and most of the staff are great. You can find them listed in the SLS Clubs section and also find their web site with all the info and prices.
Many couples and the usual single males. Friday nights, Saturday and Sunday is very busy. Rest of the week is quite but still had enough others to socialize with. We had no problem finding some quality people and we all clicked just fine. Rather relaxed atmosphere that gets pumped up by the DJ on Friday and Sat. nights and goes until 3AM. Sundays may have a sponsored event at the Roof top pool area. We have good earplugs since we like to sleep some and the music is loud. They have a minimal breakfast and a BBQ lunch on Sat. and Sun. No other food served or available at the Club and it is BYOB and mixers. Lot's of choices of restaurants in the area and a few small stores; all within a couple of blocks. Uber Eats works too, just remember to put something on before going out front to greet the person with your order. We fly into Miami and it's pretty easy to get to the Tri-rail and get an Uber at the Hollywood station. Reverse when leaving. Most everything that you will need is close and easy walking including the beach. Haulover nude beach is about 5 miles (?) and Uber or bus will get you there and back. Is Rooftop Resort 5 stars? 4 stars? How about 3. As I said: Older but clean and close to everything you need. Nice staff and meeting new friends is pretty easy. Met two other couples that traveled from the mid-west just to stay at Rooftop but just to far for them to do again. Too bad but understandable. We are in the area often during our travels so we plan our stays around that. If you have questions, please don't hesitate to ask. We have booked again for this coming Oct.
