I have a question:
When editing preferences on our profile, it asks “Are you interested in meeting single men?” The answer we pick says “No interest (profile still viewable).” There is the check box below that says “Block them (profile not viewable),” but we do not have that box checked. However, I’ve heard from several people that they can’t view our profile as a single male. Why is this the case? Just for more context, we checked that we aren’t interested in single men because it opened the floodgates for messages from single guys when we used to have slight interest checked. It just seemed misleading and (also a hassle) to have it indicated that we were interested in meeting single men only to have to reply to each message with some version of “thanks but we’re not really pursuing single men at this time.” But that being said, we’ve met some single guy friends on here and also wouldn’t mind everyone being able to view our profile in the event that we decide to reach out to a single guy.
