Looking back to earlier this year when we first joined, our profile was pretty bad. Way to general/broad in the text and our pics did not flatter or even really show us. Fast forward to September and everyone in the Better Profile forum was really helpful getting our text and pics up to snuff. After that we had a ton of people reach out to us. Some we still talk to, play with, etc. and some not. But even with those we didn't mesh well with, there would at least be some good dialogue getting to know each other to figure out we weren't really a good match. Recently we've had a a dozen or so couples (including some Ken/Barbies) that'll reach out, say they liked this and that about our profile and pics...then we reciprocate along the lines of "Hey thanks! We're (Jack/Jill) and it we enjoyed your profile and pics as well!" along with some sort of specific question about something we liked in their profile to get the conversational ball going. After that.....*crickets*.
Not exactly hurt or bitter because we are both VERY happy with the friends we've made recently in the LS. Just confused what's going on with the trend of skittish couples. Maybe it's something else though? Is anyone else experiencing this lately? Thanks!
