Would starting a group for newbies be a good idea? I'm thinking meet and greets for people who are not comfortable around people at meet and greets because they feel intimidated or awkward because they do not have experience ? Or they have been turned down due to a lack of experience. Maybe they can meet other people just like them and get experience?
