TOPIC: How hard is it to find a 4-way connection?

We see this a lot and someone commented recently in another thread about how hard it is to find a 4-way connection. We played with newbies one time and didn't realize we were their first until afterwards. We don't live close and only run into them at a particular party on occasion.
We went about 5 or 6 months from our initial play date till we bumped into them again and said something to the effect that they must be well on their way to having regular fun now. We were surprised to hear they weren't. They said they never thought that after meeting us it would be so difficult to find that 4-way connection and hadn't found one since us. They jokingly said, "You ruined us". Though flattered, we do not consider ourselves anything special other than we are a couple that will "take one for the team". I mean if one of us REALLY dislikes someone then we wouldn't expect the other to play, but we VERY rarely ever find that to be the case. More often than not the one that went in thinking their play mate was just so-so had a blast anyway. I'm not sure if it's just that we're more willing to give people a chance or what, but we've not had much difficulty finding that supposedly elusive 4-way connection. Just wondering if there are many others like us or are we really that rare?
