Trade surpluses allow a nation to grow its money supply without creating off-setting debt. In fact, they allow the nation with the surplus to loan money to its trading partners, collecting interest, which widens the surplus and feeds the economy.
Trade surpluses are so good, in fact, that every country should have one! So, why is Trump so upset with China for simplify being smart, good at business and being a rugged individual within the community of nations? Shouldn't Trump applaud China for being so good at business instead of attacking them for it?
