This entire board should be renamed to "misinformation". Seems like its just a handful of posters intentionally spreading misinformation and distorting facts along the multiple threads of this board.
These few posters' strategy is to focus on small, mostly irrelevant facts, and present it as generalization for "the reality out there". They Inflate the negatives, and downplay the positives. They will constantly present one side, without a miss, to continuously build a false picture in your head, leading you to think it is reality. The current misinformation campaign about election fraud is no different from several current and past ones that try to blind your eyes. Here are just a few as - George W Bush and the weapons of mass destruction one that were simply not there. - The Israeli campaign on the Iranian "bomb" that not a shred of evidence has truly supported. - The Covid epidemic was invented in a secret Chinese lab as a weapon against the west. Again, debunked and baseless. - God promised us, the people without land, Palestine, the land without people. Land without people? - The campaigns to dehumanize the native Americans by the settlers, the Africans by the whites (i.e. slavery) and Indians by the British (we came to civilize these savages). I am sure many Trump supporters still believe these lies. The list goes on and on. But the conclusion remains similar: People are willing to spread hate and lies for personal gains. Debating with them is useless and the best thing that could be done is not give them attention and not respond to their bullshit because not a shred of it is honest and true. To the falseness propagators who will eagerly respond and debate every point I listed above: You are wasting your time! - Moe
