So I live outside a small city (pop: 1800) and the analogy they use is "if you fart, neighbor at the end of the street knows what it smells like before you". I live not in the city but out in the country and by ourselves and kids. The local police chief (who is not in my jurisdiction, since I am county) told a few of my friends "You know about the adult parties they have" considering I have 10 acres and pay my taxes. I am confused on why he is asking about my parties. It isn't because he wasn't invited either. What can you do if the local police or prosecutor tries to indemnify you for your actions? We do not brag about our lifestyle and pretty discreet. People in this town seem to judge and we usually don't care. But when prosecutors and police chief already have a character view of you....
