I can't find a HT 2021 thread, but I swear there was one.
I'm sitting here outside a (closed) restaurant by my bike, enjoying the beautiful weather and taking a break. Suddenly- I hear... what's that? "Fantasy" by Aldo Nova BLASTING out of a car. It's the water delivery van for a bank next door. And the driver is a not whom I would have expected, which based on the song alone would have been a middle-aged white guy. Nope. 20-something black kid. I mean hey - I'm impressed that anyone under 40 knows that song. You do you, boo. One thing that newer generations hold a huge moral high ground on over mine and beyond is an acceptance of music of previous generations. Basically anyone my age or older was expected to reject and mock music older than themselves. This is absolutely not the case anymore. Yeah they don't necessarily like or consume it all, but they don't reject it out of hand just because it's older or unfamiliar.
