This weekend we went to Gunnison Beach NJ, for the first time at a nude beach. Interesting experience -- I'll keep to my topic though.
We saw several people who had children there, some running around naked, and I found this disturbing and a buzz kill. Are people allowed to bring kids there? That is messed up, as to the kids, and selfish, as to the grown-ups there. Do not involve me in your earthy-crunchy "lessons" about nudity to your kids. If a man exposed his naked self to your kid it would be a serious criminal offense by a sicko. But your exposing your kid to naked grown men (and them to your kid) at a nude beach is, what, somehow beautiful and wonderful?!?! Yuck. I noticed this older boy of one family, guessing about 9-10 y.o., covering his eyes a lot. Yeah, that's where this poor kid wanted to be, at a nude beach with his parents and a bunch of weird naked grownups. And don't tell me I am not supposed to be feeling sexual at a nude beach. No, you don't ogle or creep on people or whatever. But we are swingers who are also there "cruising" for other swingers there, such as we can manage to spot them, or they us. Ain't nothing wrong with that. Kids do not belong in that zone. Not to mention that you can easily be exposing your kids to creepy naked pedos. Who have every right to be at a nude beach, despite whatever else they are. Why would you put your kids on display in front of these naked grown men, heaven knows who they are? While I'm at it, stop bringing children to political rallies, too. (I don't care what cause or what "side.") And to rock concerts where I want to smoke, too, but I won't because your kids are there next to me. Etc. There are adult things which should be kept so. Or else it gets turned into something else. (i.e., ruined) What is so hard about that for some people to understand?
