We find it both amusing and mildly annoying to see profiles in which members go out of their way to say how "open minded" they are and "more concerned with making connections than hookups" and then make it a point to say No Smokers
We find the irony and hypocrisy of those two statements to be pretty strong. We want friends first and personality matters more than more than looks. But if you smoke we won't even talk to you. Really?? Newsflash for you being a considerate smoker has no effect on your personality. You aren't nearly as "open minded" as you like to think and present yourselves as. Now we understand some people are highly sensitive to cigarette smoke, but it seems SLS has the highest percentage of any demographic in the world of people who are "allergic" to smoke. Smoke allergies (real ones) are extremely rare, but on SLS they are common. Not liking the smell of cigarettes smoke doesn't mean you're allergic, it means you don't like it. But please stop pretending it's all "about personalities" if you disqualify about 30% of the members based on just that, it's not. Sorry had to get that off our chests.
