Saw a YouTube video about how a recent study showed regular consumption of fresh pineapple over a 90 day period significantly reduced or even eliminated eye floaters.
I Googled it and found the study was done in Taiwan. On a whim, I Googled "pineapple export Taiwan" and found a posting from May 2021 saying that Taiwan had exported 18K+ tons of pineapple as of May. Not sure what to think. The study said that bromelain found in pineapple is what was thought to be the active ingredient. You can buy bromelain pills over the counter, so not understanding why they chose pineapple vs bromelain pills for the study. Perhaps killing 2 birds with one stone for Taiwan? Thoughts?
