If you have kinky fantasies, I encourage you to move forward on them. I have had some since I was really young, mostly involving being restrained (hands, ropes) or spanked. I tried it a little in my 20's, but I felt like an idiot. You need the right person(s), someone who is actually into it.
I'm sad sometimes that I'm over 50 and only now realize how much more fun it is to have kink as part of my life! There are a lot of people already into kink who will help point the way, if you are interested. Just go slowly, try things out in a small way, and you can always change your mind at any moment. One thing I really love in the kinky community (BDSM) is the insistence on CONSENT. A lot of these regular swinger parties, men will touch me without asking. That really makes me feel violated. ASK first. A man came up and suddenly started spanking my ass on Saturday. I said, "Stop it!" He said, "You were just getting spanked." (He apparently watched a close friend of mine give me some swats that I enjoyed.) I said, "Yes, but that wasn't YOU. You didn't even ask. That's just disrespectful." If we were in a BDSM setting he might get kicked out for that. It's totally unacceptable. BDSM settings are safer and more respectful; that has been my observation. So don't be afraid to check it out.
