We have been going to Cancun for a few years after we bought a timeshare off of eBay inexpensively. We thought we would check out Temptations this year as we had seen the place and heard about it here but never visited. We are a long-time married couple both in our mid 50's . We booked it for one night, it is not inexpensive, our "basic" room as $550/night.
The place was pretty nice from an visual perspective, the staff were mostly friendly and helpful (a somewhat arrogant man checked us in and made us feel not completely welcomed but the rest of the staff were remarkable). The food and dining experiences exceeded expectations and the Sexy Pool was fun but I am not sure we would have enjoyed a week of the high tempo music and bubbles but the drinks were good and the atmosphere fun and the quiet pool was a good option. What did disappoint us a bit was the nightlife. The only evening and night party we could find was the pool deck disco. The music was extremely loud and the crowd was mostly urban young people (late 20's, early 30's ). We were clearly not the target group for the event but there were no other choices or bars open. for us to explore. I'm curious what others have experienced when going to Temptations Cancun.
