So, who else has been banned from Hedo? We went over Thanksgiving and had a really horrible experience with construction going on in the room next door. We were in an ocean front hot tub room that all in cost us about $1,000 per day. After a fun Sunday and partying late into Monday morning, we were awakened at 8:30am to people pounding on the cement wall behind our headboard with what seemed like a sledgehammer. It turned out to be an axe. We had over a half dozen Jamaican construction workers making noise, yelling, and worst of all, on ladders staring over the wall at us while we were trying to enjoy our hot tub naked. We complained and complained and complained to Camille at the desk and she did nothing to stop it, offering us a cheese plate and $100 gift certificate to the gift shop. This went on for the rest of the week in one form or another. There was even raw sewage coming up from the shower drain on one day! On our last day, we tried to enjoy our hot tub and it was not working. When we called up to see if they could fix it, they sent 6 Jamaican security guards and a maintenance worker (while we were naked still in the hot tub) that barged into our room, opened the door for the rest of them and they removed our step so we could not get out and stood there for over an hour glaring at us while we sat in the cold tub not wanting to try and embarrassingly climb out with them all standing in a circle around us. When we complained and demanded a refund with Camille, we were banned. We didn't even know we were banned until we tried to book another stay with a group we met. We sent emails to Harry Lange (harrylange at hedonism dot com) and to Diane Lange, (dianelange at hedonism dot com) Harry Lange's sister in law who manages the resort from off site and her response was "I could assert that Staff at Hedonism endured the same treatment from you, as you claim you received from our staff". We have multiple videos of what we endured.
The guests there were wonderful and they are what made the trip a great experience, but the way we were treated by Hedo is shameful. Anybody else experience being banned in retaliation?
