TOPIC: How long does an update take

I just reshuffled some pictures in one of our albums placing them in chronological order. These are all pictures that have been up for a while. When I go back to view the album they are still in the order in which they were added. I am making the assumption that it take a while for my correction to take hold. Any idea as to how long?
