In our search for new play partners, we've met all kinds of wonderful people -- sometimes we even make arrangements for second dates!
Sometimes, people flake out on us -- they never show up to our first dates. We'll get an apology afterward, sometimes a text beforehand ("oops! we can't make it tonight!"). That happens. Sometimes, we get ghosted. We'll have some good banter here on SLS before meeting, everything is going great -- and then they disappear, never to be heard from again. We've recently had a completely new experience: Not only did they Not Show Up for our initial meetup for drinks; Not only have they stopped replying to texts, and emails, but they just stopped coming to this website! Literally, their last time online here was the day before our initial meetup -- and now it's been over a month: they still haven't logged on here. Anyone else encounter this?
