Admittedly, I am not up on social media lingo. I don't snapchat, instagram, or have a facebook page.
So maybe I'm just being a fuddy duddy, but what's with all the LOLs in profiles? Do these people actually consider themselves so funny that they laugh at their own text? Because I have never even chuckled at whatever preceeded the LOL, let alone "laughed out loud". I have read a lot of really funny stories in my life, but I don't remember a single instance of authors inserting LOLz where they expected the reader to laugh...
