Someone recently suggested that a user make sure they have no photos that involve guns or fish in their profile if they want to attract more attention and get laid more often. It's not that I find this suggestion offensive, but I do think it projects someone's personal views on another user by saying no one will like their profile because it doesn't conform to the viewer's own social or political opinion.
Personally, if someone wants to post photos of themselves doing their hobbies/sports/leisure activities, I would think they are looking for other people who share those same preferences. If someone posts a selfie wearing a "Make America Great Again" hat, I would hope they AREN'T looking to meet Hillary supporters. In fact, I would assume they are actively trying to avoid ever meeting a Clinton voter. And that's entirely their prerogative. With the number of people who say they are looking for connections "in and out of the bedroom," this seems like a good plan to make new friends. On the other hand, if you are seriously only looking for a warm, wet hole or pole, then why bother posting anything other than a full body nude and be done with it? Further, if the mere sight of a fish triggers your fear of the outdoors, don't you think that meeting the person in the photos would be way too risky to chance the sight of an actual fish on the wall of their home? What if they were to show up at a local bar for a meeting with you and your wife and their truck has a fishing boat behind it? Oh, the humanity!
