Couples and single women – assuming you’re open to single guys, what makes you read a message or open a profile? The screen name? The picture? The stats? The tag line? After almost 4 years on SLS and probably several hundred messages sent, I’ve only received couple dozen responses, and rarely does someone I wrote to show up in my “Who Viewed Me” section. I’ve taken the forum’s profile and picture advice, and I write polite, personalized intro messages. Still, almost no replies, not even “Sorry, not interested”. Am I missing something or scaring people away somehow, or is it just the norm for single men to be an automatic delete?
