I’m not really sure I’ll be able to articulate this well but here goes... I’m attracted to older couples but my attempts to message with them never get a response. I know my profile isn’t that enticing but I’ll write detailed and respectful messages, open my pictures proactively, try to convey a sense of my personality, be honest about my smoking or other ways I might not fit exactly what they’re looking for, etc. and nobody writes back. Not even a “no thanks” (actually happened once recently but it felt like the exception that proves the rule) which is something I try to do if I’m not interested.
Right now I’m traveling in California and have tried many times to find in advance a potential (but no expectations) meet-up so its not like I’m last-minute demanding immediate gratification or something but it feels like I’m just trying to communicate with fake profiles. I don’t know. I’d go to a nudist resort/campground if such a place exists that isn’t family oriented or allows single men (a mutually exclusive proposition as far as I can tell) but that seems even more of an ambivalent place to find people than here where it’s nominally up-front. Any advice and/or constructive criticism?
