TOPIC: A general travel question

This is not so much an LS travel question, but rather a general travel question asked of seniors in the LS. As we make the transition from work to retirement, and as we look forward to travel while we remain healthy, the question has come up--do we want to travel simply as a couple, or do we want to plan trips with friends?
We are not interested in "bus tours", and this is not a question so much about LS travel. It is simply a question to those who have been in the LS a while, whose kids are grown and out of the house, and travelling for leisure. Do you prefer to travel just as a couple, or do you prefer to travel with others? Realizing that there is probably a balance for some of you, what's your balance?
