About the Party... On April 20th those in the know will gather to celebrate the 150th anniversary of two great men. Claude and Louis, both chemists, successfully concluded through a series of painstaking experiments that the heating and sudden cooling of wine could be used to preserve the fermented grape pressings. While the Chinese had figured this out in the 12th century, it took a pair of Frenchmen to refine it, document the process and stake their claim on history. Well, at least Louis was able to. Our weekend in wine country will begin on the ground. Guests will be whisked away to one of the premier wineries in Napa and have a chance to run their fingers through the soil before being seated for a culinary masterpiece with memorable pairings. On Saturday afternoon Ann will join with the other ladies for an afternoon at the spa; a perfect way to set the mood before primping for Claude and Louis’ Anniversary Party. Sunday morning those up early will take to the skies for a bird’s eye view of the vineyards below as hot air balloons silently ascend in the cool mountain air. No trip to Napa and Sonoma Counties would be complete without a tasting tour of the country’s finest wineries. With a variety of routes pre-arranged, Sunday afternoon George’s guests may select from tours focused on a specific region, varietal or a special selection of boutique wineries for those who wish to stock their personal cellars with some of the most unique vintages available. At the end of the day all of the cars will gather for one final tasting and a farewell toast to Claude and Louis. About George... For George, entrée into the lifestyle is about much more than casual sex. With the carnal aspects of their relationships satisfied, swinging friends often become intimates on a myriad of levels. George finds sincerity and clarity in his swinging relationships that is all too rare with couples unfamiliar with the lifestyle.
