Any body who needs a room for Wed nite a friend canceled his trip but could not get the money bac k from Expedia. So offering it for half price 50 dollars wed nite only. It is at the Royal St Charles close to Collettes

your right Craig Tracy's paintings are awesome, but most likely not something you may see walking down Bourbon St. lol. He is a true artist.

Bodypainted definitely is okay during Mardi Gras, and probably okay on Bourbon Street on a busy weekend night if it's late enough. But no guarantees that all Po Po will look the other way.
If you want to see a wonderful out-of-the-ordinary approach to bodypaint art, be sure to visit the Craig Tracy gallery on Royal Street (one block over from Bourbon). |

body painting seems to be a 'look the other way' phenom. the problem is when it is NOT mardi gras, finding someone to do it. seems the artists only show up when there is a great deal of money to be spent.

I know that a few years ago we done some bodypainting at Mardi Gras and then as long as the nipple was covered either by paint or a pasty then it was fine, but not sure if that is just during Mardi Gras or not

So for the dress code on the street... does body painting count as nudity?
Also, I noticed that Collette's has the same theme nights as we are having. We are only expecting to party there one night (not all three) - right? |

hi guys just got an update on the country club..although nudity is still allowed, some locals just told us it is now overrun with textile college kids who make fun of the nudies..also it is a lot tamer than in years past..security everywhere..sorry for the misinformation

For those of you interested in more of a nudists experience than the hotel may provide, we recommend a visit to The Country Club, a sort cab ride away from the Quarter. They have a very large outdoor pool and hot tub great for overall sunning. They are friendly to all sexual lifestyles. Also rumor has it they have pretty good food. costs 10 bucks from 10 am to 5 and 8 after 5. Might make a good side trip. courtyclubneworleans
