Hi Howard, Your comment about people being upset might be in reference to our comment about Orient Beach. We were there on the same day in November. I think you are right there is a general resentment of cruise ship people invadors by people who are staying in resorts. It's only natural a lot of people only there for a few hours. The beach was crowded that day. I'm guessing mostly because of the arrival of the cruise ship we were on with 3900 people on a "swingers"l take over! However, the people we ran into were not just upset. Few people were even talkng to one another and one woman in particular was rude. Nude beaches are usually very friendly no matter how crowded it is. Of course, I have no idea what motivated the unfriendlly feeling. However, I think it's more related to the fact that this was a swingers cruise, and not an ANAR nude cruise. There are some nudists who deeply resent lifestyle nudists and they always make their moralistic views known!

We are going to Club Orient , April 23 for a week. We have been to the beach many times, but first time staying there. Looking forward to staying there,with all those friendly people. My wife and I were on the beach the day a swingers cruise came to the club in November, people were upset that a beautiful quite beach became way over crowded upset not unfriendly. We were talking to a wonderful couple that lived in a nude community in Florida . If your going to be there lets meet for a drink.

We will be there March 23 - 30, 2013. If anyone else will be there at that time, give us a shout. This will be our first time there, so we want to hear more about everybody's trips. ;)

We are members of Caliente as well as a nude resort in California. We spend 3+ months a year living at nude resorts. We will be at Caliente for almost three weeks before the cruise. The cruise is a lifestyle clothing optional take over cruise. So hanging out naked and going to sexy parties nearly naked is pretty much what we;ll be doing every day for a month on this trip. When we were on Orient beach in November we found the people around us to be for lack of a better word unfriendly. I'm sure it was just unlucky ending up where we did on the beach, and possible an attitude as it was pretty obvious we were on a cruise! What we are looking for is an experience beyond hanging out naked on a lounge chair for the day. We had a great time at Sunset beach again likely because of the people who just happened to be there when we were there. It's not nude but there were lots of beautiful topless women. It was a much sexier vibe. We want to return there, but I'd also like to see more of what the island has to offer, historical, cultural, food, or just something interesting. Different from the normal cruise ship tourists stuff! We never take cruise ship tours and always find adventures on our own. If you have ideas we'd love to have them. Thanks

To really enjoy Club Orient you have to stay at the resort. OK as a cruise excursion - just be sure and go on your own without a set time limit. The restaurant is open to day visitors for lunch. You will spend $20.00 for the use of two lounge chairs and an umbrella for the day. Lunch will cost another $30.00. A nice way to spend the day off the ship. Staying at the resort offers total freedom and relaxation for a vacation you will want to repeat. Beach umbrella / lounge chair are included daily plus you have access to the resort store with fresh pastries each morning. Dinner and dancing every night to the different bands or singers. Most couples dress for dinner with the men wearing a shirt ( only a shirt ) and the women wearing a short wrap around the waist. It is customary to sit on a towel at all times in the restaurant or bar. If you visit the Perch bar on the Club Orient beach they have a two for one every afternoon but it is only for one hour. Say hello to Willie for us - she has been there nearly thirty years. When we were at the resort last year we signed up for the day sail twice but he did not sail either day - he will not take just two couples - BUMMER - I think four couples is his minimum. Maybe next time..... Enjoy your trip to Orient Beach - here in Florida the nude beaches have all but disappeared or you get tired of dodging the $200.00 fine for sunbathing on a secluded beach. Even when you are all alone you will be fined ! SXM and Orient Beach can not be beat - ENJOY

We are also looking for suggestions on what to do in St. Maarten. We were there on the Freedom cruise in November and will be back again in April on the lifestyle cruise out of Puerto Rico.

On the first trip we did Orient beach which was OK for laying naked in the sun and we were at Sunset beach which had a good vibe going and was more social. Unfortunately on a cruise there isn't much time and we are not into shopping for diamonds! We are not that interested in going back to Orient for a day. I'm sure if we had more time it would be a lot more fun.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
