Great night last night . . . . . Kats was a blast . . . parade was great and Colettes wasfantastic! Group room upsatirs with the round bed . . . broke it in nicely!!!! FYI - the hotel pool is a fantastic place to cool off after a great night dancing and playing!!!

Thanks for the suggestions, we seek out the smaller restaurants in NOLA. Personally we prefer those to the bigger name restaurants. We never go to chain restaurants! Can't wait to get there this convention is so much fun!

Another local place off the tourist track is Willie Mae's up in Treme, a short cab ride from the Quarter. Only for lunch, but it's a great soul food place with the best fried chicken you've ever eaten.

Hay Vegas, A little known local restraunt on Frenchman st. Adolfo's a four star restraunt with awsome prices... We go there all the time.. just thought I would let everyone know about it....Hope everyone has a greate time while down here ;)

Forget about the heat, it's even hot here in Vegas!!! Since there are a number of people on here who are going for the first time, I'll make a couple of recommendations for what it's worth. We've never missed a Nawlins event since they started. Bob and Tess always try new things just to keep it fresh and exciting. It's almost impossible to do everything. However, when you see something on the schedule about a special performance usually at the beginning of the dance it's worth getting there early. Unless you live in NOLA you'll never get a chance to experience some of the things you'll see at this event. That can create a problem scheduling dinner, but it's worth it. Some of the afternoon Bourbon street bar parties are just stand around and have a cocktail. However, you don't want to miss the late afternoon bar parties on Friday and Saturday. It will truly be the wildest afternoon party you've ever attended. Wear something that is easy to get out of! Not many people even go out to the pool which is a good idea as the pool is small. However, if you enjoy skinny dipping with friends you really should check it out at least once. Bring some very sexy lingerie or something sexy and easy to remove for the hospitality floor. They won't allow you to access the floor in street clothes. It's much more fun that way! Finally there was a reference to a Fun Ahoy mystery club being very selective. This isn't a comment about them I have no idea who they are or what kind of club they have. Let's face it everyone is very selective! At conventions like this make an effort to get to know as many people as you can. Don't just meet people you think you might want to have sex with. There are a lot of hours in a day. You won't be having sex during the vast majority of time you are at this convention. You'll have a lot of fun with your new friends even if you don't make it to the bedroom. So for what it's worth don't be selective about meeting people and making friends. Look forward to meeting all of you.
