We're planning a long weekend in mid-April and are looking for some suggestions. We'd like to go somewhere where there is an active LS community (hoping to meet up with some fellow SLS'ers). We're flying from Chicago and prefer to go somewhere warmer. Since it is only a long weekend, we don't want to spend all our time traveling either so CA is out of the question. We are thinking TX (Austin or Houston), SC (Charleston or Greenville), or FL (Fort Lauderdale). Has anyone got opinions on any of these or other recommendations? Oh yeah, we also can only fly where Southwest flies (free tickets). Thanks for any input.
