we foung the gardenview as far away from the pool as you could be to be the best. we were there in november 2004 (oceanfront) and april 2005 (gardenview). the sun wakes you very early on the ocean. also, afternoon "interludes" work better in the gardenview rooms. we are headed back the saturday after thanksgiving, if anyone will be there then, let us know. we hope this helped.

I would say the best rooms are mid resort beach front. You can walk right out onto the beach in the morning and get a chair if you are a beach person like us. The rooms near the pool are to loud. Hope that helps. desire is awesome.
