On our four previous trips to Desire RM, it seems like the Weather Channel predicted rain on the majority of days. Usually it only turned out to be a passing afternoon shower, nothing serious. Once, in June, a tropical depression came through and it rained solid for much of two days. No big issue because folks socialized at the bars (which are covered) and there are some large covered beach paviliians. The staff also organized a few indoor activities, like pole dancing lessons.

What sort of activities are there at Desire Cancun when it rains? I just checked the weather forecast and it looks like rain every day but one during our trip. If rain days equate to stay-in-your-rooms days then we'd rather cancel our reservations there and find a more inexpensive place to just hang out. Any thoughts or advice?
