Hey....:-)...We were at Desire last June/July.....We are heading back there again in July this year..only exception is.....We're bringing another couple with us this time to share in the fun....:-)

Going to Desire? Thinking about going? Here are a few thoughts and observations based upon our vacation at Desire in May of 2003. We are just regular folks, not connected to Desire or any travel agency. We went with great expectations of an all inclusive swingers resort. And we were not disappointed! Great staff, nice facilities, fun guests! Desire was originally a family type resort and was over 5 (10?) years old when it was purchased and renovated. And then reopened in 2003 as a Couples Only adult resort. They were still finishing some work when we were there, but nothing inconvenient to us. We were very fortunate to stay 5 steps off the beach in a room with a giant Jacuzzi tub. Beautiful! Clothing Optional: all the printed material indicates that nudity is ok at the pool and the beach. We found that naked was ok just about everywhere except the restaurants, club/bar, and front desk. Activities: There were regular volleyball games (sand and pool), ping-pong, darts…they had a hoby-cat, and kayaks. Hot tub/swim up bar: beautiful view, not really a hot tub, more of a warm small pool. Great place to hangout, meet new friends, and play. Pool: very nice…right off the beach. Bugs, mosquitoes…take some repellant. Humidity: During May and June…very humid. In the room at night had to have the AC up so high, we almost froze. Clothes: Did we ever over pack!!! Dress is required in the restaurants and the club/bar. Sexy attire is cool at the club/bar in the evening. Mostly we were naked or in a swimsuit or a wrap! Food: Excellent quality and selection; at the snack bar by the pool, at the buffet, and the upscale restaurant. Service: In all respects, very good…whether in the restaurants, bars, at the pool, everywhere. It is expensive and inconvenient to buy “everyday stuff” down there. It’s a $40 round trip taxi drive to Walmart in Cancun. The on site shop has a lot but is pricey. Any other questions, please contact us. We were there in January and had a blast. We met a couple there that lived the next town over from us. We'd highly recommend it.

Great place for swingers!...clothing optional almost everywhere, playroom behind the bar and so much more. Went in May 2003 and loved it. Drop us a note and we will give you more details.
