If things are slow at Pearl you can take the free shuttle the hotel offers over to the original Desire. We have been to the original Desire during a couple of Thanksgiving weeks and it was always lively. We went to Pearl during a takeover and it was very good.

We're arriving just after you in November and also a bit worried about occupancy. They said they were already 30% booked, but not sure they wee truthful.

So glad to see glowing reviews on Pearl Mayo. We just figured out last week that its a new Desire resort (we like Desire Cabo and just love Desire Mayo). We went ahead and booked November 21st-November 28th. We'll be watching the threads to make SLS acquaintances prior to the trip.

We will be there from November 13 to 17th. We spent an afternoon there in May when we were at RM and really were impressed. Just gotta get the party started!!
