We have set up a meet-and-greet the first night aboard in the lobby bar for thirty couples at six-thirty. Each couple buys their own drinks. The age range we are looking to attend is 40's to mid-50's. We will have blue and white balloons on tables around the group. Then we can all go to dinner at eight together and go dancing after and see what the evening brings in play time. We have found an intimate meet-and-greet to be most effective at the beginning of a cruise to get to know other couples.

Thank you SOOOO much for the information about Gasparilla. Never been to Tampa during that and it is a wonderful PLUS for us. Can't wait to enjoy the parade!

I am not sure if this matters to any, but you should know that Saturday January 26 is the culmination of Gasparilla, which is a one week party in Tampa. On that day it is the boat parade where "pirates" take over the city and have wild parties and a parade that paralyzes most of downtown and then that night in Iboy City (Close to the docks) it is parties all night.
It is almost as wild as Mardi Gras, especially if it is a warm day. The boat parade ends right in front of the hotel where most of you seem to be staying. (It is actually at the Convention Center) It is a wild parade if it is a warm day. |
