Ya, Carnival Liberty. Feb 11th.

We are on Carnival's Freedom Oct 2-8 out of Fort Lauderdale if anyone wants to join us. It would be neat to have a special couple to pal around with day AND night.

Considering13 is correct. i got up on stage the first night at sea and was approached all week long by others. Unfortunately I wasn't an SLS member at the time. Suggestion: sit in the first row. You increase your chances of getting on stage. There I was on stage with a dunce cap on my head. When the guy lifted the cap, there was a plunger undernneath. And they are also right about the stateroom TVs. That night showed on TV for 24 hrs. I was still being approached by strangers as we were leaving the boat 6 days later because they recognized me from the TV's. You are on vacation. Make a fool of yourself. You won't see these people again, unless you hook up.

the " Ellis " idea is a new one, likey..... We had gone on a RC cruise a few yrs back. On the Promanade they have a biilboard type of sign where you can leave messages for people from certain groups, conventions, reunions...to meet at certain times at a lounge, restaurant...etc....We filled a card out with a message for any SLS members to meet at one of the lounges @8pm.....there were a good handful of people that showed up....I wish there was a lifestyle cruise that went out Easter wk. when we are off, or have a large group set something up on a vanilla cruise.....any takers ???? ( make our own fun.....

They're pretty cheesy. However, you're on vacation, cheese it up! Some of the easiest places we found to meet people: Jacuzzi Breakfast in the main dining (they seat you with other people). Excursions Getting on stage during a game. Seriously, play one of the games on stage, get called up for something, whatever, and people will be approaching you all cruise long. I fell asleep in the front row waiting for bingo to start, the girl with the mic pointer me out, camera camera caught me and that's all it took. We were approached at least 5 times per day by people wanting to meet the sleeping girl. (the clip that was recorded was shown every couple hours in the staterooms on the "your cruise" channel.

Thanks for the offer of advice. We have heard they do a sort of "hosted" games on cruises. Basically it sounded like ice breakers or events to get people to loosen up or something along those lines. Do you have any more details? Are they cheesy or worth attending?
