New LS Club in Cocoa, called Minglers aka private members bottle club. The owners are very nice and so was the "bartender" who is only allowed to pour mixers. They owners showed us the whole place and were very friendly. However, the placed used to be an old TA bar; and for what we saw the only "upgrade" that was accomplished was most of the carpeting torn out. They have a few private play rooms, one big play bed, and a room for the SM crowd. If you smoke cigarettes or don't mind smoke; this is the place for you. We were told that smoke is not an issue because of the exhaust fans; but that was coming from people who smoke! My wife had a very bad allergic reaction to the smoke the next day, so we won't be going back. It's really a shame; because the place has potential and we need a LS club in Brevard county.;

We wish them luck and hope they do well!! Just a head's up for people that are allergic and/or don't want to be around smokers. For now, we will stick with our south Florida and Tampa clubs.

We were on vacation back in August and decided to check the place out.

It was hidden in an odd industrial area that was hard to find. We are members of a couple of clubs in LA and are used to jumping thru a couple of hoops for admission but seemed like this place wanted a little more than we were comfortable with. We stayed but still.

The place had bar, dance floor, and pool tables up front. All the smokers and single guys were supposed to stay in this area and you could not undress in the bar area. The smell of smoke was pretty heavy in that area so we only went up front for drinks.

The back had hot tub, showers, playrooms both public and private, and a few seating areas. Like someone else said, the people there seemed like regulars and content with their own group. Unlike the others, we checked the place out, played a little pool, and decided to say hello. Their bar-back was super cool and kept the sheets changes and back room clean. We met some nice people, including the owners and had a nice time.

Sounds like the place was pretty new when we went. It could go either way, we hope that they invest in some smoke handlers, and continue to clean the place up. Hopefully they will have some staying power.

We visited last night. We met a few nice people but for the most part the small group pretty much seemed to be locals that were having fun staying to themselves. In all fairness, we could have worked harder at inserting ourselves in to the clique but didn't seem that we gelled.

My main concern is that the club that is portrayed in its website is not what you get. It's truly a bait and switch. If they posted pictures of their club on their website few people would bother trying it out. There is very little reality in their website. I'm tempted to start listing the discrepancies, but you really only need to look at their site and note that it's all a huge exaggeration starting with... "Minglers Club is an upscale Members Only Social Club." And this one is almost laughable... "Minglers Club is a First-Class upscale Social Club that expects only the finest from itself and it’s Members."

We decided to attempt to salvage the long drive and the fee for membership/entrance. We went to one of the rooms upstairs to play. It was really quiet. A little chilly, but we got the temp up pretty fast. The real turn off came when watchers came up stairs and started joking around, talking loudly just outside our open door. They were just rude. We are fine with people watching, but when they carry on conversations, etc. it's just rude. Good luck to Minglers. You have a lot to accomplish in order to be consistent with your website.

We visited Sat nite, 5 April. The club maybe is progressing. Though, still no smoke eaters, but lots of cig and cigar smokers evident. The fans help, but still reeks. We stayed and played, the large private room was fun for the 6 of us, and no one opened the door (amazing). The other rooms didn't seem to be used at all,1 couple brave enough for the voyeuristic hot tub. The huge bed in center of play area needs to be boxed in with sheers, very intimidating to be that open,on stage almost, performing. The lockers were mini size and very limited in number, no place to actually place your clothes, if you choseto undress. They do a great job cleaning and sheets after your done playing, so the next group is on clean bedding. Only 1 restroom in play area, shared. They have a long way to go to reach Trapeze level, but We got the impression they are trying...We would go again, if they have a SMOKEFREE weekend...J&K
