Original Starting post for this thread:
We have only been to Starz in DC. They recently changed owners. Haven't been since the change. But the place where the meetings were held is the same and it wasn't that great. Comfort and Style wasn't a big concern. So we are thinking of trying another club and wanted others opinions? What do u think?

We like the Mt. Retreat in Southwestern PA. It's very laid back and everyone feels welcome :)

Adventures, among our friends the two most popular on-premises swing clubs are both in southern Pennsylvania - The Cottage in Gettsyburg and The Farm in York, PA.

We've been to The Cottage a half dozen times, but not in the last couple of years and it's undergone some renovations since we've been there. We had fun there, though. We've never been to The Farm, but have heard good things about it.

Both clubs have websites, and you can find both by clicking on "Clubs" to the left of this page and then following the appropriate links.

Hi, since we posted those quick reviews, we have also been to The Pleasure Garden, in South Philly. It was not fully operational at the time, just the lounge was open, but we can see it will be a really nice place when finished. (We plan to spend New Year's Eve there this year.)

Unfortunately, they will probably not be open for a Halloween party. We are planning to go to a vanilla club takeover on the 22nd in Reading PA. It started out as a Meet-n-Greet but now the Lifestylers have the run of the club for the whole evening... should prove interesting...

Good luck in your search!

Hey you two thanks for the replies. I was hoping that more people would give their opinion so we would know where to go for a great Halloween Party. But I sure an event like Halloween will be fun no matter where we go. thanks again

We can only speak about the three clubs we have frequented. Each one has its own character and suits a particular mood.

PPSC (Pocono Paradise Social Club) is a comfortable, homey place that has the intimate feel of a house party, with the added benefit of an indoor pool and theme rooms. They also have an outdoor deck and hot tub for the warmer months. This place is perfect for first-timers, as Jim, the owner, takes time to interview and answer any questions and puts people at ease.

TJ's Lasting Impressions is a very classy, professionally run place that has the look and feel of a nice, sprawling nightclub, with the addition of a pool and a hot tub. They have an excellent kitchen and the staff prepares very good food. They have a large, professionally lit dance floor with a (usually) good DJ. The playrooms are plain, but clean, and they also have VIP rooms which are essentially nice motel rooms you can keep for the night. Their group room leaves a lot to be desired, though... it is essentially a wide spot in a hallway, and the constant foot traffic by your head can be a big distraction. The biggest draw is the indoor, 80-person hot tub. We like this place when we really want a classy evening.

Club Kama Sutra is nice in its own way. a narrow 3-story building designed for those who want to watch and to be watched. The play rooms have mirrors positioned so people outside can watch and cheer you on, and the main group playroom is open to those on the third floor for viewing from above as well. Their restaurant is pretty good as well. The dance floor is smallish but professionally lit. The DJ can get very annoying at times. In our experience, CKS is less friendly than most, but great if you like voyeur and group scenes.

We plan to check out the Pleasure Garden in the near future. From what we read and hear, that place has some potential, once it is complete.

One more point... although technically not an on-premesis club, the monthly Nude Spa Parties in New Castle, DE see enough "action" on the dance floor and in the candlelit heated pool to qualify as a pretty hot M&G at least. You might want to check them out when they start up again in October.

These are our opinions only, and are nothing more than that. Hope this proves enlightening.
