Red Rooster is more like a swing club museum than a swing club, it is actually a house party. Frankly I find having sex in an 80 something year old couple's home a bit creepy, and a place which is so high on the local Po Po's radar because of zoning violations a bit dubious. Couples Oasis and the Green door are your best bets

We went to Couples Oasis perhaps 2 years ago. It was OK - a decent crowd.

Plan your time carefully - the hosts meet potential first-time attendees off-site first to prevent weirdos from showing up at the door. You then follow them in groups with your car.

More new house clubs are opening up as well. And Kasidie hosts about once a month.

The Red Rooster has a lot of locals who have been going there for years, so you do get a bit of the older (40-60) crowd. But there is also a mix of tourists, so on any given weekend you'll see an interesting cross section of people. For an on-premise club, it's the least expensive option in town. There is no annual membership. All you do is pay the cover at the door and that's it. If you go, make sure it's on the weekend. The place can be really slow on weekdays.

I've heard Red Rooster isn't nearly as good as it was a few years ago, and the Swinger Circle parties are limited to 12 couples. We'd like to find a venue with maybe 20 - 30 couples or more this coming Halloween.
