One other thing. I was not telling other folks what to do. I was explaining the pariah factor. I was honest about what I do and why.

I throw no stones. I deep throat most.

BTW, I LOVED Bisexual men in the 70s. I went out of my way to find them. I always liked the idea that they "get it" too. Oral/anal with a male.

When the shit hit the fan in 1980-82. I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop. I didn't get tested until 1986-87. I was SURE I had it. I didn't. I can only surmise it wasn't in Baltimore yet.

I tightened my criteria then. I've seen no reason to change my mind.

Actually I do avoid those groups for the same reasons. It makes no sense to apply statistics in one area and not another.

I don't have sex with IV drug users. Let me look for that article...it's somewhat old now.. But VERY enlightening.

Mischief is consistent. I only direct my OWN life Thank you!

I so much agree. If I let others make up my mind without first finding out or giving it my best shot I would not have accomplished half of the things I have done over the years. I chose not to listen to those who tell me I can't do it. I much prefer the ones who believe in me or tell me I can.

Debbi, there's such a thing as being reasonably concerned and being paranoid. If someone is on this site, at all, they should be prepared to have some level of honesty. Besides, who did this other couple think you were going to tell? Better off without them.

I will happily volunteer for the pubes patrol. No fines imposed but free grooming services happily offered. What do you think, guys?

CuriousNew - Bravo! That's all I can say.

Well, it's been awhile since I have posted to this thread, and in review, it seems that there is more to be said. So, if You are interested, put Your reading glasses on! First, for the off-topic comments that I have.

adamstrim1 and mischiefnyou - You don't have to worry about Bi men infecting Your personal space because You are simply too closed minded to attract any!

davesaratoga - Cat and I are hugh horse racing fans. Someday we will attend a meet at the hallowed grounds of Saratoga Springs - hopefully we can count on You to be our gracious host!

stiffbreeze42 - I wish there weren't so many miles between us

noname726 & AnneandMike - I must say that both of You gals have amazingly beautiful titties! Sucking on them would make me totally forget about any cock!

Now, to get more on topic.

OkDov - Call me what ever makes You comfortable, but the fact is, I am Bisexual. That means that I am open to both relationships and sexual encounters with either a man or a woman. A rose by any other name is still a rose.

And last, but certainly not least - navybiguy - You are ABSOLUTELY correct that honesty is ALWAYS the best policy. Tis better to get two or three replys per month from those with whom You are compatible, than 100 replies per day from those that don't warrent Your consideration.

God bless America, Apple Pie, SLS, and Southern Comfort - Dave

By the way, there are way too many people on this site named Dave

I’m getting into this thread late, but figured I would jump in the pool. As to Navy’s original post I totally agree. I’m a divorced bi guy here and listing myself and being honest and listing myself as bi seems to be like the scarlet letter on my chest. It seems that everyone wants a bi woman (I know who wouldn’t :) ), but a bi guy is something that most seem to run away from. I would agree with other posters that just because I’m bi doesn’t mean I want to play with the guy or do anything major. It’s just an option and not something that has to be done. I myself am very safe based on my activity but I still get tested on occasion even though I’m doing low risk stuff, it’s more peace of mind and to inform others that im safe and clean. I think more people should get tested in this lifestyle, men and women.

As for mischief’s posting I agree that sucking is not just sucking, however I would say people shouldn’t broadly state guys suck dick harder and deeper, everybody does it differently, women and men.

Mischief, I'm curious (pun intended), how is a womans approach to cocksucking different from a mans? You indicated that a man is more likely to deep-throat. I have not found that more likely than with women. At least, the ratio has not been any different. I've been blown by maybe 30 women in my life (a porn star I'm not) and DTed by 3. I've been blown by maybe 5 men and DTed by none. If there is a study these statistics come from, they may not take into account the level of desire concerning cocksucking.

Deepthroating, first of all, is not like acquiring a taste for wine. Once someone decides they want to do it, they will have to learn to suppress the gag reflex. This is further complicated by the size of the mouth and larynx. In short, if someone deepthroats, he or she really wants to.

Of the women I have been with, all have blown me, most have swallowed, some loved sucking and swallowing more than breathing, and a few have DTed me. I realize there are women out there that don't suck cock at all and those that will but don't really want to. I have not had any of them but I know men that have.

Any straight man that decides he wants an experience with another man is thinking about cocksucking, initially. In my experience, he loves eating pussy and loves getting blown--at least, that is consistent with me and men I have talked to. So there is no analogous category to the women who don't and women who will but would rather not categories. In addition, a man must get past the idea in his mind, perpetrated by society, that men that suck cock are gay. In short, if a man sucks another mans cock, he really wants to.

My point is, a women that really wants to suck cock is much more likely to attempt to deepthroat. A straight man that sucks cock, by definition, really wants to, so is more likely to deepthroat. The 40% greater likelyhood of deepthroating by men than women may be accounted for by 60% more women that are likely to suck cock but don't love it.

This is just my opinion and certainly does not account for gay men. I assume that's a topic for another forum.

The oral sex connection is well documented. It is clear that HIV can be transmitted by felatio. Gay men have turned up HIV+. Their only behaivor is felatio. It is less easy to catch this way. That's documented also.

My point about Male on Male felatio vs MF Female on Male Felatio was this. MM is much more likely to damage the oral cavity. Deep Throating brings the Langerhans cells (in throat) in contact with semen. Langerhans cells are what picks up the HIV.

Iwill try to find an article that was in the Village Voice many years ago. It caused me to realize suck dick is not just sucking dick. Men approach it very differently than women.

Play safe
