This sorta reminds me of the old cruising scene from the early 70's . I do remember a time when people would take that second look and it lingered, and then the next thing you know your are in the bushes, bed or where ever, because anonymous sex was something that was just happening. Openness I think is the key. How open are you to pick up on his vibes, they may not be strong. Be open.

It starts with a look. A little longer than a happenstance glance in passing as both of you are caught up standing in a line somewhere. If it lingers with a brief smile on both ends, you got a chance? It's roughly the same mechanics as approaching a woman. Attraction is attraction with a twist in this case.
