We too started out as "Unicorn Chasers" although it didn't take us very long to figure out that the men in the lifestyle were much more respectful than we had believed them to be[no offense ,the new ones think that of me too lol] the best thing you can do if you are truelly curious about the lifestyle and open minded enough to be friendly ,open ,honest ,warm swinger type or sexualy non-repressed is to be very honest and open to more about testing the waters and meet people..if they wish to invest thier time with out the guarantee that some 'fun' will be the end result then you have met some great people.Y ou will come to realizethat in most cases the couples are the most fun to be around as they too have the same aprehensions that you two share and behold you are alll in the same boat...something in common right off the bat! It took us a year after entering the lifestyle to get to th e point of full swap and with some one that we at first were very unsure about....they are now our best friends and truelly a large part of our lives outside of the lifestyle also...it was another year after that that we actualy found a "Unicorn' ...in the most unlikely spot.She was a tile specialist at a upscale job that I was building on, she had her interests in me[male half] and in my resistance to her flirtations [yeah right] I told her point blank that I would not mess with her until she met my wife and gained her confidence...this lovely woman stepped up to the plate..met with my wife and I for dinner and conversation and became fast friends with us- soon after she also had her first bi experience with my lovely wife and became over time a loving addition to our hearts... sadly she has moved to Cali. to help her only daughter with a divorce and new baby and we miss her :( the whole point though....invest yourselves into this lifestyle if you wish to experience any part of it,because some how,some where all roads cross and you will find the situations you feel best in...it may be something truelly different than what you think is what you want now - but with out a doubt with an open mind and truth and trust between you and your partner ...where ever you end up at is exactly where you will want to be when you get there :) Jay and Tracy

I will have to agree with our friends redstar we prefer cples over singles, the energy and excitement that comes from a room where cples are fucking is unreal~, now we do also play with singles (male & female) on occasion, but still prefer cples. I hate that at some point my spouse is being left out or I am being left out. It is only fun to watch for a few mins. Well for us at least

It's nothing personal, just that the friendships seem to be a bit more well-rounded with couples. Plus the guys can have their conversations while I have my girlie-talk. Not that there's anything wrong with the singles, but I've had my share of threesomes before I knew swinging existed, for us it's more erotic with a couple. To know that someone else is getting pleasure from you pleasing their partner is as much of a turn on as the sex to us.

Whenever Craig and i see a profile that states they are only looking for single bi fems i say.."ohhhh honey look how cute they are looking for a unicorn." LOL Now don't get me wrong we would love to get together with a single bi fem but we understand that those opporunities are far and few between. Even the club scene though is sparse on single bi fems. I remember my days of being a single bi fem and often times i avoided the clubs (with the exception of one) because i was so afraid that i would encounter a lot of disrepectful people and would not have anyone there looking our for me if someone were to take things too far.
