User Details are only visible to members.	I find all the terms annoying. This is my definition of the different terms...I am not saying these are right, but just my input... Bi-curious - someone who is interested in having a sexual encounter with someone of the same sex. Bi-social- someone who engages in some sexual play with someone of the same sex. IE: a woman that doesn not reciprocate the sexual pleasures to another woman, like you can eat me but I am not eating you...or you can kiss me and lick my nipples and i will do the same but I am not doing anything else. Bi-sexual -- someone who actively participates in sexual encounters with someone of the same sex, and well as someone of the opposite sex. If I am wrong in my perceptions, feel free to correct me. User Details are only visible to members.	Donna, I think there is a lot of ambiguity about what these words really mean. Part of the ambiguity is the fact that many women take the label "bi" or some variant of it, at the urging of the husband who may have fantasies about it or may think that a profile with a bi female will have more success, or perhaps some other reason but it has little to do with the actual interests of the woman. So whenever there is lack of honesty or somebody is trying to force things, ambiguity is the result (the unwillingness to saying things the way they are, leaving everybody confused!). Luckly many bi women, or some variant of it, are very clear in their profiles about what they want. You see a lot saying things like "she is mostly interested in men but will play with the right woman", or in describing what they are looking for they say "we like couples with bi females but that is not a requirement". Other profiles are very clear as well but in the opposite direction: "looking for couples with bi females". We like profiles that are very clear, in one direction or another, because we don't need to waste time making guesses as to what they are really into. You sound like you are a truly "bi-curious" female, so if I was you I wouldn't change a thing right now. Later you should make up your mind and label yourself either bi or straight, at least if you want to be logical about things. Of course, your exploratory phase may last quite a while. It may not be obvious to you if you are truly bi after just one or a few encounters. Hooking up with experienced bi females will probably be the best thing you can do at this point (my guess). They would be more likely to do things "right" which in turn would help you decide whether this is for you or not. But back to terminology. I suspect many females retain the bi-curious label only to signal that they are still open to the possibility of being bi with the right female, but for all practical purposes they know that they are into men and that it's very unlikely they will become really interested in another female. Another possibility is that bi-curious is a code for passive-bi, and since this site does not allow the passive-bi designation then people choose the only option available between straight and bi. The way to resolve this problem is simply to take the "bi" label (without the "curious" part) but state clearly in the profile that you are willing to receive oral but won't go down on the other woman. I don't remember having seen this kind of specificity in profiles, but have heard it from couples when meeting face to face.
