Ducati, the site allows you to hide your profile not just from men, but also from women, couples, and free members. I'm all in favor of letting everyone have control over what does and does not appear on their profile page, and on who they allow to see it. It doesn't bother me in the least that many members hide their profiles from single males; you might even be surprised at how many couples do that, yet email single men that they find interesting and selectively open their profiles just to those particular men.
