Hey, I was just going to say the problem isn't there, preferences or not. I did think that if font size was left at medium it was fasted than if set to large.

I posted this under another topic, but here's the simple way to get access to Open Forum.
Simply turn ALL your Preferences Settings to "off." That's it. If you do that you get instant access to all segments of the Forum, including Open Forum. |

Not any different in the southwest. Cable modem here with a 2 gig processor and 1 gig of ram so I know it isn't on my end. :D I think the server is just getting overloaded big time. The forums haven't had this many people on it in a long time I would think.

Even at 6am EST, the open forum takes a long time even with a Cable modem. This morning I had to go to server 2 (ww2....) to even get in and still takes a long time to load.
